Bangkok has a lot of highly acclaimed hotels and some of them have a guest friendly policy. And the prices for a luxury hotel room in Bangkok is surprisingly very affordable with reasonable rates.

When it comes to luxury hotels this is a true bargain. A friend of mine stayed here for business so I had a chance to take a look at this property. The guest facilities in this Centre Point is incredible such as the swimming pool and fitness center. It’s not close to any red light districts, so you’ll have to hop on the Sky Train at Chidlom station, which is about 10 minutes walk away.
Mayfair Bangkok Marriott 4400 THB avg/night

This particular Marriott property in Bangkok is designed for long term stay. However, many discount rates can be had for short stay. You can expect high service and very comfortable modern rooms at the Mayfair Marriott with top notch guest facilities. It’s not close to the red light districts in terms of walking distance but you can walk to Chidlom BTS station in about 10 minutes and take the Sky Train to reach Patpong, Nana and Soi Cowboy in about 10 minutes.
Lebua at State Tower 4712 THB avg/night

One of the main attractions to the Lebua is the popular roof top bar. Rooms here are famous for it’s modern and high quality comforts at reasonable rates. Plus they have a great view up there too of the river and the city. The closest red light district is Patpong, about a 10 minute ride by taxi.
JW Marriott Bangkok 6000 THB avg/night

This hotel name is popular in the west and one of the best business hotels in Bangkok. The JW Marriotts is very well known for their service as well as quality and this particular property doesnt fall short. Staying at this hotel will give you access high quality guest facilities. Nana Entertainment Plaza is just a short 3 minute walk from here.
Shangri-La Hotel 6356 THB avg/night

The Shangri – La is a legendary hotel name and there’s one in Bangkok’s famed riverside. It’ll take about 10 minutes to get to Patpong Red Light District by taxi if the traffic isn’t bad. But the BTS Sky Train is nearby so you can take it to Patpong by getting off at Sala Daeng Station or Nana and Soi Cowboy Red Light Districts at Nana BTS station.
Intercontinental Hotel Bangkok 7500 THB avg/night

The Interncontinental Hotel is another high classed luxury hotel in central Bangkok. To get to any of the red light districts you can ride the Sky Train at Chidlom BTS station, which is right outside the hotel. Getting to Patpong, Nana and Soi Cowboyshouldn’t take longer than 10 min with the trains.
Westin Grande Sukhumvit 7700 THB avg/night

One of the best business class hotel. I’ve personally stayed here myself when I first started working in Bangkok. Rooms are excellent with the best beds. Soi Cowboy is less than a five min walk north.
Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok 8000 THB avg/night

Another internationally well known luxury hotel in Bangkok. The area is quiet, fortunately the Racthadamri BTS is right across the street for easy access to red light districts. But to be quite honest if you can afford this hotel you’ll probably be taking a taxi to get around most of the time.

The Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok hotel gets high marks for quality, service and location. You can get to the red light districts of Patpong, Nana and Soi Cowboy by using the Sky Train, which is right outside the hotel. From there it’s a short 10 minute trip to the go go bars of your choice. This hotel is within walking distance to a lot of popular shopping malls such as Gaysorn and Central World.
Peninsula Hotel Bangkok 9290 THB avg/night

If you ever wonder how it feels like to be treated like royalty then a stay at the Peninsula Hotel in Bangkok is in order. This hotel has been rated by top travel magazines for high service and quality. However it’s the furthest away from Patpong Red Light District. It’s best to take the ferry provided by the hotel to get across the river and hop on a taxi. Total trip time should be about 30 minutes. Or you can take the Sky Train at Saphan Taksin BTS station and get off at Sala Daeng BTS station.
