I stayed 2 nights at the Asian legend hotel in Hanoi and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely room which had a massive bed inside, along with a minibar and aircon. The hotel is in the heart of the old quarter, a few minutes walk to all the spots. The staff was extremely friendly and patient, trying to explain the sites to us on a useful map they give you and their English was of good quality for Hanoi.

A fantastic boutique hotel. They did a wonderful job at welcoming us from the airport, and served us with genuine friendliness – the thing that we didn’t experience often even at a 4-star hotel or above. The room was anything fancy like a high-class hotel, but still very comfortable and clean. Staying here is worth every cent spent, or even more.

Amazing hotel with extremely helpful staff. Very clean, very good rooms and although some of them face a busy road of the old quarter they prove to be noise proof. Definitely a value-for-money choice at the heart of Hanoi and for sure much better than many 4 or 5 stars hotels.
