Location: The Royal Palace is a wide hotel and one of the oldest hotel in Pattaya. The rooms are clean, decently large with big balconies, and offer basic accommodations in Pattaya. The hotel also features a swimming pool with garden they should maintain better. With WiFi charged and unfortunately ridiculously slow and some part of the staff behind the desk not always friendly with customers, except if you are looking for a large guest friendly hotel to be absolutely fully anonymous in Pattaya and if the hotel and room furnitures a bit old fashion don’t scare you, I would not particularly recommend this place since in my opinion I really think you can get better hotel and accommodations in about the same location for the same price.

Location: The Intimate Tim Boutique Hotel is 4-stars girl friendly hotels located in the Pattaya city area, just off Second road close to Soi Diana near shopping malls, nightlife, restaurants and a short 5 to 10 minutes walk to the beach. The rooms are spacious, large and well furnished and well appointed with nice bathrooms and all modern amenities. Flat sreen TV was ok but the Wi-Fi although free kept dropping out. The new extended pool are at rooftop was nice and peaceful despite being in the heart and hustle and bustle of Pattaya. The breakfast wasn’t elaborate, but sufficient to satisfy for everyone. Staff was attentive and helpful. Over all I would say a cheap 4-stars hotel considering the price I paid highly recommended for his excellent location near bars/restos and all the popular public areas.

Location: The Boss Suite (formerly the Diana Inn) is a medium sized guest friendly hotels set in Central Pattaya in a good location near the go go bars of soi LK Metro. Hotel features a nice swimming pool and contains 3 bars (lobby, greenbottle pub, and pool). Rooms are spotless, a bit dated, but with medium size refrigerator and free internet Wi-Fi still ok. Not a hotel for snobs or those seeking something fancy but considering the location for entertainment and the large pool a good value for money.

Location: The LK Metropole is an institution in Pattaya and centrally located on Soi LK Metro near Gogo bars (Oasis, Champagne, Lolita, Hell Club…) and near everything that is of interest in Pattaya, this hotel is one of my favorite places on the city. The rooms are spacious, luxurious decorated here with hardwood floors and all the expected amenities: large comfortable beds, large flat screen with satellite channels and DVD player, air conditioning, private balconies and mini bar. Studio rooms even provide fully equipped kitchens perfect if you intend to spend more time here. There is also a superb swimming pool, a restaurant, and fitness centre for those who simply want to exercices. With a super free high speed internet access in room, a very attentive friendly staff and a decent room but without be the more extravagant, a great guest friendly hotel perfectly set for all my solo traveller activities.

Location: The Areca Lodge is the hugely popular guest friendly hotel in Pattaya. Set on Second Road in the heart of Pattaya, just a 5 minute or about 500 meters from the beach and very close to Soi LK Metro, this is a friendly stylish hotel amidst stunning tropical gardens with excellent service from the accommodating staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable all with balconies and all the amenities that you could need. The hotel also has a great outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and fully equipped fitness centre. There is construction currently underway next door so there is some noise, however we have been assured that this will not last for long.

Location: Beautiful but slightly older hotel with huge, very well laid out rooms located on soi Diana Inn, near Soi LK Metro and just 5 minutes from Beach Road. Beer bars across the road, and the delights of many Agogos are just around the corner. Walking street is in easy ride as well (15 minutes walk or a quick motorbike taxi ride). All rooms are done in a Renaissance fashion with statues, pictures and furniture. A few maintenance problems are starting to show up but, overall, the hotel is in very good condition. The beds are very comfortable, most rooms have a DVD player with television and a stereo system included. The bathroom was clean and had a separate shower cubicle with good water pressure and hot water. Free Wifi Ok in my room and also PC’s with internet connection in the lobby. The hotel has also a small outdoor swimming pool which is great first thing in the morning. All in all nice hotel advertised as 4-star but nearer a three and a half. Recommended to anyone who searching the basic comforts near nightlife but not wanting to spend a lot.

Location: Quite new hotel located 3rd road in Pattaya. Large, clean and confortable rooms with kitchen and all good facilities. Room has large refrigerator, stove and microwave oven. Quiet surrounding. Good value for money. Highly recommended.
