Surprisingly enough for a city like Rio de Janeiro that has a reputation for having some of the sexiest women in the world finding a hotel that will allow you to bring back one with you is a major headache. Sadly, the vast majority of hotels in Rio de Janeiro have cracked down on overnight guests so be aware you could be very easily disappointed realizing that your expensive hotel won’t let you bring back the girl you just met up to your room when she’s begging for sex at 2 AM in the morning. In Brazil and especially in Rio, for discreet romantic encounters you are expected to go to “love motels” that are rented by the hour and come in all shapes and sizes, from the very sleazy to the very luxurious. But if you are like me and are probably already paying a premium prices for a hotel in Rio I don’t see why you’d want shell out more money looking for a shady motel at night.
