Koh Phangan is an island in the Gulf of Thailand, located in Surat Thani province in south east of the country. It is renowned for the Full Moon Party which is held on every full moon night and it can attracts thousands of partygoers to this stunning island every month. However, Koh Phangan also has tranquil atmosphere along with white sand beaches and blue sea for tourists to relax themselves from stresses.

For nightlife aspect, all the actions are mostly based in Haad Rin were you can find the full on nightlife venues but there are some pubs at Thong Sala as well. Actually, though Koh Phangan is already well-known for Full Moon Party, there are some other beach parties too such as such as ones at Guy’s Bar on Friday nights near Had Tien and the Saturday night at Eden Bar close by.

Phangan Beach Resort is located on an isolate cove in Baan Tai beach on the southwest coast of Koh Phangan, next to the stretch of the island coastline. Though the location is pretty close to tranquil nature, it is not too far from actions like street markets, night bazaars, bars, and restaurants. The staff are excellent and friendly, they will go out of their way to help you. The hotel itself is great value for money, the rooms are clean too. The pool is average in size but clean and has views across the sea. Great hotel if you are wanting to go to the Half Moon party, Full Moon, as its only a few minutes in a taxi.

This cosy little resort on the north western coast of Koh Pha Ngan is everything you could want for. It is extremely clean, on the beach, the staff are just so friendly and it is only a matter of a taxi ride away from Haad Rin, the resort with the bars and where the full moon party is held. It is purely heaven as there are not as many tourists on this part of the island which means that the beach is deserted most days and there is plenty of time to relax and chill out.

Haad yao is very special place at Koh Phangan island. People are very friendly and prices is so cool for everyone. For example, can of coca cola is only 0.5 euro in cafe under the palms. Enjoy your stay! O yes, amazing view is very important detail.

Lovely room with fantastic seaview. Nice staff. Very nice pool with a wonderful seaview. It’s only a short 5 min drive into town and all the shops, bars and restraunts. Highly recommended .

It’s the staff, location and attention to detail that make the Phangan Chai Hotel such a wonderful hotel. Set in the lovely Tongsala with views of the beautiful blue sea and town the hotel provides wonderful views from every room. You need to either take a taxi from the hotel to Haad Rin and back, or walk for about 20-25 minutes down/uphill.

It’s set on a beautiful isolated cove overlooking the sea with wonderful sunset views. The food is top notch and the management very attentive to all needs. It’s a relaxed, beautiful place with a homely feel. Highly recommend!

Great choice for koh phangan, when you looking peace and quiet. Resort is very nice in beautiful garden. Rooms are clean with enormous huge bed 🙂 nice view from balcony. Pool is big and clean. Breakfast was ok classic for thailand, eggs, sousages, fruits, pancakes, youghrts and some local food like rice or noodles. Beach is amazing crystal clear water. I must recommend this hotel.

The rooms have everything you need. Clean towels every day. Shower was cold but you don’t need hot water anyway. Breakfast was good, a lot of variety, same for lunch and dinner. Good that you can have separate bills for each person in the room, for everything you order, good system. Friendly people, they drove us to the full moon party and picked us up again.

A very nice hotel, clean, the staff are very nice and the breakfast are very nice! It’s close to the restaurant and its on the beautiful beach. The room very comfortable and clean and the location its 5 min drive from the Marin 5 min by walk from the restaurant.

Great place to stay. It is clean and nice. Bungalows are just on the beach so you can walk barefoot all day. The room was nice with a really big bed – so you can sleep comfortably. I haven’t seen any insects there – you can get away from mosqitos by simply closing doors and starting air condition. People are nice, food is good. What else can you need?

This is one of the nicest places at the beach. Good pricing, cozy rooms and friendly staff. Location is good and close to all major restaurants and bars of the beach. Housekeeping is great – the rooms are cleaned daily and even if you are away for one hour, you come back to the clean room.
