So Bukit Bintang is an area in Kuala Lumpur where a lot of tourists choose to stay. There are many 4 to 5 star hotels in this area because there are many high end shops and malls. But there are also have many 3 star budget hotels and a lot of cheap guesthouses too. So it’s an area just right for travelers of all budgets. Kind of like the central Sukhumvit area of Bangkok. There are no go go bar strips or plazas in KL.
You might be wondering if KL hotels have the same issue with guests bringing hookers to their rooms. As far as I know, most hotels KL are guest friendly so they don’t have an issue with working girls.
Now personally, even on business, I do not choose to stay in 5 star properties. From what I’ve noticed 3 to 4 star hotels are perfectly fine for a single male travelers such as myself. Because just like it is in Bangkok, budget hotels in Bukit Bintang are not so expensive. But even the 4 to 5 star hotel prices are not so bad compared to major cities like New York, London and Japan.
Now I know for a fact that if you stay at a cheaper budget hotel you’ll get a smaller room, about 15 square meters is the norm. Which shouldn’t be a big deal unless you’re planning to stay in your room for the duration of your stay.
Then there are the cheap backpacker guesthouses. I’ve never personally stayed in one but if you really want to fool around with hookers in Kuala Lumpur on a tight budget then perhaps a guesthouse is a feasible option for you. But to be honest, it’s probably best to look for a nice 3 star property. Now of course you don’t have book a room at any of the hotels I listed below. Those are just the hotels I know of and it’s close to everything, like restaurants, shops and a few KL monorail stations in case you want to explore more of the city.
And all of these hotels are in walking distance to the health saunas with hookers I’ve reviewed. Hotels are listed in order low to high, priced in Malaysian ringgits.
