Guest Friendly Hotels Rio De Janeiro

Updated for August 2018
Surprisingly enough for a city like Rio de Janeiro that has a reputation for having some of the sexiest women in the world finding a hotel that will allow you to bring back one with you is a major headache. Sadly, the vast majority of hotels in Rio de Janeiro have cracked down on overnight guests so be aware you could be very easily disappointed realizing that your expensive hotel won’t let you bring back the girl you just met up to your room when she’s begging for sex at 2 AM in the morning. In Brazil and especially in Rio, for discreet romantic encounters you are expected to go to “love motels” that are rented by the hour and come in all shapes and sizes, from the very sleazy to the very luxurious. But if you are like me and are probably already paying a premium prices for a hotel in Rio I don’t see why you’d want shell out more money looking for a shady motel at night. I decided to keep things as simple as possible for everyone with my list and added only the guest friendly hotels of Rio de Janeiro that are centrally located along the beach in Copacabana near the bars and nightlife hot spots of the city. Sorry if the selection is so short but these are the only hotels that I can guarantee at this time to be girl friendly in Rio De Janeiro.

Updated List of girl friendly hotels Rio De Janeiro in Brazil, no joiner fee for bringing back unregistered girls in your hotel room. I have personally taken the time to contact each and every single one of the establishments in my Rio de Janeiro Hotels list below as of January 2016 to make sure their guest friendly policy is still in effect. You can check out the reply they provided with the hotels description.

Rio de Janeiro Guest Friendly Hotels

List of certified guest friendly hotels located in Rio de Janeiro near the action:

Praia Lido Hotel ★★★ $82 avg/night
Avenida Nossa Senhora de Copacabana, Copacabana / Leme, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Praia Lido Hotel

I always found hotel prices in Rio de Janeiro to be very expensive so it is usually quite hard to find any half decent one a block away from the beach at a good price. The Praia Lido Hotel is definitively nothing special but for the price and location you’ll be hard pressed to find anything better in the area, one of it’s the other major selling points is you’ll be less than a minute walk from Balcony bar, the best pickup joint for tourists looking to hook up with local girls, also lots of strip clubs, boites & termas, street action around as well.

Rooms are dated and furniture is old-fashioned but all the essentials are covered: It was clean, Bed is ok, mini-bar well stocked with drinks, flat-screen TV on the wall offered a decent selection on channels, free Wi-Fi worked well, no issues with the AC unit, everything in the room is controlled by an old school panel next to the bed, good hot/cold water pressure in theshower with free toiletries available and the room also had a balcony overlooking Avenida Nossa Senhora de Copacabana. The free breakfast served until 12pm is quite nice with: lots of fresh fruit, eggs and sausages, cereal, bread, cakes, juices, coffee, etc. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English, no problem with room service late at night, no extra for late check-out at around 5PM and most importantly no problems with bringing back ladies to the room they are very girl friendly.

Guest Friendly policy reply by the Praia Lido Hotel: “Warmest Greetings from Praia Lido Hotel. Our rate is for a Double Room, and there is NO additional journey for 01 girl on this price. Best regards, Sirlene.”
Promenade Princess Copacabana ★★★★ $131 avg/night
Rua Xavier da Silveira, 58, Copacabana / Leme, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Promenade Princess Copacabana

The Promenade Princess Copacabana is pricier than the Praia Lido Hotel but the rooms are definitely more comfortable and enjoyable. Location is also good, you’re only 2 blocks from Copacabana beach, 2½ blocks from the Cantagalo Metro station with lots of shops, supermarkets, cafes, take-aways joint around the block. Rooms are actually more like apartments and include a separate bedroom, living room, kitchen/dining area and a small balcony. Hotel facilities include a gym, small pool, sauna & Jacuzzi.

Guest Friendly policy reply by the Promenade Princess Copacabana: “If you make a double booking which is for two guests yes, but all incoming visit will be the responsibility of the host, and all visits were to fill out the form at the front desk informing documents with photographs and ID card or driver’s license. Being prohibited to under 18 years of age. Sincerely, Rafael Silva, Reservation Promenade Princess Copacabana.”
