35 Thaniya Soi 2, Surawongse Road, Bangrak, Silom / Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand
The Bavana is a popular budget hotel opposite from Duangthawee Plaza, a popular section with gay bars and clubs. It is the cheapest hotel on the recommended list for hotels near Patpong. It’s not the greatest in terms of guests facilites because there are none. However, if you’re looking for a budget hotel near Patpong’s gay bars and bar girls then Bavana Hotel is an acceptably clean choice.
10 Silom Road Soi 2 Surawong, Silom / Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand
Bally’s Studio is a very good hotel. There are plenty of massage parlors and restaurants right by the hotel. And there are several very close access points to the BTS and MRT train stations. Lumphini Park is right across and even though their are freelancers there you’re best to stick with Patpong’s bar girls. The hotels is basic and no frills but the rooms are modern. Though some rooms have no windows and the ones that do are not that much better. But overall it’s a great budget hotel choice.
952 Rama 4 Road, Suriyawongse, Silom / Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand
No doubt one of the most expensive hotels near Patpong’s red light districts. And don’t even think about bringing a bar girl back to you a room at the Crowne Plaza Lumpini. So if you’re goal is to stay in a luxurious hotel and not take a bar girl back to the hotel than this is the right hotel for you. Though it cost a lot for a standard room, this hotel oozes luxury with over the top quality furnishings. And the staff at the hotel is as professional as any luxury hotel in the West.
135/18-19 Surawong Rd. Bangrak, Silom / Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand
As one of the newer hotels in Patpong, the Glitz Hotel on Surawongse road is a quiet respite from the crowds and noise associated with Patpong’s go go bars and the night market. Standard rooms are 28 sqm. The decor is kitschy though the taste pretty much matches up with Patpong’s atmosphere. It’s still a bare bones hotel though the real value of Glitz Hotel is the excellent location.
68 Surawong Road, Si Phraya, Bangrak, Silom / Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand
The De Arni Hotel is not guest friendly and will charge a 500 Baht joiner fee. Though you just might get away with it by booking a room for 2 guests. This hotel is worth the mention because it really is a nice hotel property right close to adult entertainment venues just steps away. And the quality of the rooms are quite good. Just be sure to stay away from a single room.
134/134/2 Silom Road Suriyawong Sub-District, Silom / Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand
The Lido Millenium is a tiny budget hotel on the main road of Silom. Even though it has a fancy name this little popular hotel has clean rooms that run a little under 1300 Baht. You can expect smaller sized rooms though with no extra hotel facilities. So it’s another bare bones hotel. But it’s clean, close to many restaurants, bars and of course Patpong’s go go bars and night market. It’s a good choice for those who don’t want to stay too close to all the noise and crowds of tourists.
54 Surawongse Road, Silom / Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand
Once the grand dame of hotels in Bangkok. After 30 years the Montien Hotel is still a popular tourist friendly hotel in Bangkok. Rooms at the Montien such as the superior rooms which are standard are spacious. But the rooms have not been renovated recently though it’s not to say the the hotel is not clean or well kept, because it is. It’s one of the few affordable hotels in Patpong with a nice pool and a fitness room. Although it’s not a girl friendly hotel they still provide their guests an enjoyable stay.
130/8-12, Soi 8, Silom Road.,Suriwong, Bangrak, Silom / Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand
This is a new hotel right next to Patpong nightlife on Silom road. It’s quite a big hotel too with around 60 rooms. The cheapest ones are the economy singles and yes it’s small. Patong’s go go bars and clubs are a 5 minute walk and there are many small oily massage parlors nearby. So the area can be a little hectic during certain times with tourists heading to the night market.
118 Soi Nawathualampong, Surawongse R., Silom / Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand
The Rose Hotel is another older hotel in Patpong. But they’ve renovated a few years ago so everything should be in good order. Today it’s a good affordable hotel with a nice pool. Like the rest of the hotels near Patpong nightlife there are many places to eat and get a massage. The Rose Hotel is located right behind the Montien Hotel so it might be difficult at first to find.
115/1 Surawong Road, Bangrak, Silom / Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand
The Siam Heritage Boutique Suites is a very popular hotel in Patpong’s nightlife district. Its classic Thai styled guests room sets a unique atmosphere for guests who want to experience a true Thai experience. The hotel’s swimming pool offers guests a nice respite from the heat. 37/20-24 Soi Surawongse Plaza, Surawongse Road, Silom/Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand
The Wall Street Inn is one of the cheapest hotels on this list. But surprisingly, the rooms are adequate for a comfortable stay on a budget in Bangkok.
